Academic program

The program is open to people trained in the areas of Biology and Chemistry, Social Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and Biotechnology, Earth Sciences, Humanities and Engineering, who wish to carry out interdisciplinary studies in the subjects of landscape sciences, socio-ecosystems and sustainable development, and whose vocation is mainly directed towards research.

Upon completion of studies, the student will:

It will have the capacity to generate its own research proposals aimed at solving the problem of the conservation of our landscape heritage in its various aspects, from the most conserved and ecologically preserved landscape, to an urban center.

They will have the ability to initiate their own lines of research that lay the foundations for future programs and action plans aimed at solving the problems specific to the doctoral area.

It will have the ability to transfer the knowledge acquired in scientific and technological events where it works or makes known its research or productive and technological development results.

Teamwork skills are highlighted, as well as being a person who listens to the comments of others and who generates processes of thought, reflection, analysis and learning that help him grow as a subject and as part of a civil and academic society.

It is important to note that the proposed doctorate is compatible with professionals from very diverse disciplines, but that all graduates will have the same approach when addressing environmental problems, since Seminar I will prepare them for holistic scientific thinking.
