Academic program

The Master's Program in Political Studies at the National University of Colombia was created by CSU Agreement 68 of 1994, and its establishment within the Faculty of Humanities and Economics at the Medellín campus was authorized by CA Agreement 024 of 2012. Its purpose is to train professionals capable of contributing to the solution of numerous social and political problems. The Master's Program in Political Studies critically examines diverse theories and schools of thought to foster inter- and transdisciplinary studies, in which political culture is understood as conditioned by the vertical and horizontal relationships that individuals and groups maintain with the State and other institutions.
