The Postgraduate Program in Social Security was created in 1974, therefore, it has thirty (30) years of experience, during which time it has contributed to the training of specialized personnel in social security and in the study, analysis and solution of problems inherent to this important field of knowledge and action.
OBJECTIVES:
-To provide scientific, technical, professional and humanistic training, at the highest level, for the in-depth and systematic study of social security, as a multidisciplinary entity.
-To contribute to the training of comprehensive, critical, reflective, ethical and supportive professionals, capable of successfully facing the challenges of social security in an extremely complex global context with emphasis on the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
-Provide methodological training for research on factors related to social security and the quality of life of the population.
-To advocate for the production and reproduction of scientific knowledge of social security that contributes to the economic development process of peoples in an environment of freedom, justice, equity and solidarity.

- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent and postgraduate studies, preferably in Social Security. Degrees awarded in languages other than Spanish must be translated by a public interpreter and legalized by the competent authorities in Venezuela.
