Academic program
Those who meet any of the following conditions may be eligible to apply for the title of Doctor of the University of Buenos Aires:
1. Graduates of the University of Buenos Aires, with a professional degree corresponding to a program of at least five (5) years in duration. Graduates of programs of less than five (5) years in duration must accumulate sufficient credits, evaluated by the Doctoral Committee of the respective Faculty in the discipline chosen to apply as a candidate for the Doctorate.
2. Graduates from other National Universities, from Provincial Universities and from private Universities recognized by the National Executive Branch with a degree similar to those of this University and from foreign Universities recognized by the competent authorities of their country, after qualification in all cases of their studies by the Doctoral Commission by opinion approved by the Board of Directors of the respective Faculty.
3. Persons who do not possess University degrees and who, due to their intellectual and scientific merits, are accepted by the Governing Council of the respective Faculty at the request of the Doctoral Commission.
