Academic program
The Master's Course of the Faculty of Economic Sciences tem by objective:
- Promote systematic research and in-depth economic studies, with emphasis on aspects related to the State and social policies, the international economy and the agricultural economy.
- provide a favorable environment for the development of the theoretical and methodological level of its teaching and student researchers.
- provide subsidies for social government policies (federal, state and municipal), as well as to understand the impact of the integration processes of the Brazilian economy in the international context.
- offer professional post-graduation training strictly speaking, eliminating the job market with non-existent current specializations.
- act in a complementary way, with other UERJ post-graduation programs, such as Social Medicine, Directing and Education.
There are only 3 areas of concentration:
-International Economics
-Public Policies
-Agricultural Economics
