Academic program

To provide higher level theoretical and methodological knowledge related to the nature of cultural heritage, which supports an appropriate intervention in the recovery of the historical legacy of a society.
To train professionals in the design and implementation of policies that contribute to human and socioeconomic development, incorporating rights-based, gender, and intercultural approaches, to contribute to improving people's quality of life.
To empower cultural heritage managers who are properly trained and capable of intervening in the recovery of the heritage assets of a community in accordance with its social and economic development.
To train in the research of cultural heritage so that, using the most up-to-date scientific knowledge on the subject, they can rigorously apply it from the perspective of its practical application that benefits and improves the living conditions of a population.
To train managers who make the most appropriate decisions regarding the intervention of cultural heritage, using knowledge from the Social Sciences and related disciplines that are linked to the recovery and conservation of the heritage assets of a community.
Addressing the treatment of cultural heritage by guiding actions towards forms that integrate research and administration.
Develop guidelines for the dissemination and rational use of Cultural Heritage.
Obtain action parameters in order to establish forms of strategic management and self-financing, tending towards its sustained development.
Develop programs related to citizen participation in actions for the protection and conservation of cultural heritage.
To propose public policies in the field of culture, as well as plans and strategies aimed at valuing local, regional and national cultural heritage.
To lead interdisciplinary projects in the field of promotion, rescue, and management of cultural heritage in all its forms.
Demonstrate critical and proactive capacity in addressing the challenges of managing and administering cultural heritage and its integration into the local, regional, and national community.
Candidates must be high school graduates specializing in social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and related fields.
