Academic program
The Master's Program in International Cooperation for Development is a multidisciplinary program that fosters the training of professionals and researchers in international cooperation. It offers training in the development and management of cooperation projects and provides the tools to work in an international context. The program is a full-time, on-campus program designed to train responsible professionals and researchers with a strong ethical sense and social commitment. The program is registered with the National Postgraduate Registry of CONACYT (National Council of Science and Technology) in the high-level category.
The main objectives of the program are:
The master's program aims to train professionals and researchers in the field of international cooperation who possess a broad understanding of its political, economic, social, environmental, and cultural aspects, as well as the actors involved in multilateral agencies and banks, bilateral cooperation, governments, and civil society. This entails:
- To deepen the theory and practice of international cooperation and development
- To promote research on current international cooperation practices
- To understand the application of tools for the management and implementation of cooperation projects.
- To promote social development, sustainable development, the defense and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms, the promotion of political and social democratization processes, citizen participation and equality based on sex, race, culture or religion.

Upon graduation, the student will be able to:
To analyze the problems that societies face in order to promote development and to propose alternatives that contribute to their solution through international cooperation.
Design, manage and execute international cooperation projects that promote development.
Evaluate development cooperation projects.
To study and analyze different aspects of cooperation through scientific research.

Bachelor's degree in humanities or social sciences, humanities or related disciplines.
Minimum average of 8 with the official evaluation scale of the institution issuing the grade.
Written TOEFL with a minimum of 550 points or electronic TOEFL with a minimum of 213 points, with a maximum age of 6 months.
Academic selection competition (knowledge exam** and interview)
Commitment to full-time dedication as a student.
Research project proposal to be developed during the Master's course according to one of the lines of research - maximum length of 10 pages.
Preferably, with professional experience in the subject area of the master's degree.
