FOLEC in "Research evaluation under debate"

CLACSO-FOLEC is pleased to invite the scientific and academic community to participate in the event «The evaluation of research under debate", which will take place next August 8th, 2024 at the Room 1101 of the Zero+Infinity Pavilion of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, University of Buenos AiresThis event will feature leading experts in the field and will be an excellent opportunity to discuss and reflect on the current and future state of research evaluation.

The program will begin at 14:00 PM with the conference «The evaluation of research and the emperor's new clothes: CoARA, a global opportunity", in charge of the Dr. Eva Méndez, Director of OpenScienceLab at Carlos III University of Madrid and member of the Board of Directors of CoARA. At 14:30 p.m., the Dr. Judith Naidorf, Principal Investigator at CONICET and Coordinator of CLACSO-FOLEC, will present the «State of the evaluation in ArgentinaFinally, at 15:00 PM, a panel discussion moderated by Lic. Matías Alcántara will take place, with the participation of prominent researchers from CONICET and other academic institutions:
