FOLEC CLACSO at the Diversity and Inclusion in Global Science Seminar (CWTS- Leiden University)

The Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University is organizing the seminar "Aligning research quality with collective benefit: participatory, diverse and inclusive reforms of research evaluation in Latin America and the Caribbean"

The presentation will address the unique characteristics of regional systems for evaluating science, technology, and higher education, as well as their main distortions and inequities, with a view to improving the quality of research in Latin America and the Caribbean. It will also identify shared priorities and points of convergence with the European Agreement on Research Assessment Reform for joint implementation initiatives, including training programs, collaborative spaces, and monitoring tools.

The presentation will be given by Laura Rovelli, coordinator of FOLEC-CLACSO.
