“The proposal for the tenth edition of LatinArab is itself a commitment to diversity as a path forward. Its program of some 50 films allows viewers to connect with the settings and cultures of more than 30 countries. While the focus is on the Arab and Latin American region, co-productions with the Asian continent are also prominent. There are productions of different profiles and scales. The exhibition spaces where they are presented are also diverse: from commercial theaters and cultural centers to free-access platforms. Through this rich offering, the festival seeks to be a meeting point for multiple territories, voices, and audiences,” says María Jesús Santangelo, programmer and artistic director of LatinArab 10.

The tenth edition of the Festival will be held in homage to Edgardo “Pipo” Bechara El Khoury, co-founder of the festival, who passed away in March 2021.
