Fernanda Beigel
At CLACSO we celebrate the appointment of Argentine researcher Fernanda Beigel (CONICET, UNCUYO), specialist in international circulation of knowledge and evaluation of science, to the position of President of the UNESCO Advisory Committee on Open Science.
Fernanda Beigel's representation and leadership in this space, which aims to draft UNESCO's recommendations on open science and is made up of specialists from 24 countries, is key to strengthening various initiatives that, from the social sciences and humanities and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, promote the production and circulation of public, open and collaborative knowledge.
As part of these shared spaces and dialogues, we share the Document Series FOR A TRANSFORMATION of SCIENCE EVALUATION in LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN, recently prepared by Fernanda Beigel, within the framework of the Latin American Forum on Scientific Evaluation (FOLEC) of CLACSO.
