A girl that needs to be felt

“It is not in resignation, but in rebellion in face
das injustices that we will affirm.”

~ Paulo Freire

One day, when I was still little, I asked myself what my dream was, I thought "I would grow up now"... One day, in my adolescence, I asked myself the same question, my answer was "passing into the faculty and becoming someone in my life." Here it is, in the middle of the pandemic, starting what I said was my dream when I asked myself about... But I know that this is not my true dream. Today I dream like the day that you will be able to hug others without hitting or passing a virus that has already killed thousands of people, known and unknown; I dream like the day in which the preconceito is going to be a past in society; I dream like the day when there will be no more people passing by; I simply dream of a better world.

I still try to understand how people will lose so much, when everything started to go wrong and someone blamed everything?

The answer is simple, but at the same time complicated. Everything began to retrace when our community bond was replaced by individualism... The people who live in harmony in their community are divided in the interest of enrichment and those who only share in their feeling of gain; People are called by their souls and enslaved by a system that only benefits the elite; faiths are extinct, languages and knowledge will simply disappear.

The escravocratic system was replaced by a new system, which de novo has nothing… As black women once without protection, as women once more I have to obey their husbands (and ah they don't obey!).

There is no need for blood spilled in the blood of slaves, I see the dictatorship, oppressing those who were not oppressed, giving strength to those who were not forced. Ah! daquelas/es que tentassem falar um "a" contra, ele exilada/o, fuzilada/o, tortureda/o... (it didn't matter which fosse a escolha, only there was a destination: a dor).

And once again, the chalice was filled with the blood of innocent people who only wanted a little bit of dignity. Despite everything, we continued on the path that we fought and taught us to fight: our families.

Ditadura chega ao fim, direitos são conquered e os hoshos de um amanhã melhor ressurgem.

However, a figure emerges that traces all that sentiment of hatred tona de novo, as people deixam their preconceits stamped on the face without shame someone, fake news behind their backs on social networks and the ghost of communism is reborn… A straight white man is called a myth and comes his mandate…

Cresce desmatamento, scandalized denialism, universities running over the cliff of serem dated... Destruction for all sides, deaths for all sides (and many of which could be avoided)... Ministers asking for resignation to not endure such insanity; This is when they are not disguised at the point of falsifying phrases like “boy wears blue; girl wears pink” or “a public university is for few”…

Corruption scandalized on the face of society!

As young people I have to go out in the middle of the pandemic to ask for the basics: beef, food and education!

And once again, a young person is not serious, or the country continues with a hidden lack of power, that instead of answering emails, I am riding a motorcycle in the middle of a pandemic, impeachment requests are shelved, running or risking having a coup, why is it that it has not been heard for 3 years? A/o young man.

I run risks for being angry, therefore I have no fear of dying shouting against a system that kills thousands of people a day; I don't have anything to do with being ouvida for being a woman, because being a woman is what gives me the strength that I have; I don't have to fight, because it's that fight that gives me the strength to get up every day.

I prefer to run through cliffs to fight for something than to run through cliffs because of my return; I have to say that all the hair that my ancestors have lost is lost, so I thank them for all the mourning day after day so that none of the progress is lost.

I know there is a light that cannot be extinguished: the light of youth. Be strong or be on your initial stage ready to gain strength and empower the world, giving voice to youth around the world. Let us understand, we are not incapable, we are not dreamers and we are hoping for a new way of seeing the world and of creating a story, starting from here, filled with respect, empathy and happiness.

Let's keep this job alive, because as long as it exists, we will have hope for a better world!

I want to write a text that brings reflection on the current reality.
Through my knowledge, I will reflect on what is happening today and produce a text that awakens the will to fight for our rights (as young people).
I would like to do it, because the reality we live in today brings dangers to society.
I am going to present a text. I chose this format because it is what I am most comfortable with, and I believe that words have a power that can generate change.
