 Feminisms, resistance and emancipation

El CLACSO Working Group on Feminisms, Resistance and Emancipation It was created in 2008 and is celebrating 15 years of continuous work in feminist academic activism.

One of the main lines of work of our GT is oriented towards accounting for the innovative policies that the feminisms of the region have positioned, as well as their resistances and struggles and their contribution to feminist policies in the region.

From a pluralistic and democratic perspective, we propose a different way of doing academia, as a political act through which we make visible problems that affect women and their rights, as well as denounce the naturalized orders of patriarchal violence that have historically dominated us and that intersect with the multiplicity of inequalities in the region.

Likewise, we seek to highlight the contributions of the women's social movement to society, proposing alternative ways of resisting, expressing themselves, mobilizing and emancipating themselves.
