Is fundamental change possible in Ecuador?

The runoff election in Ecuador will take place on Sunday, April 13th. Daniel Noboa, conservative and current president of the country, son of a wealthy banana businessman and representative of the Ecuadorian right, and Luisa Gonzalez, candidate of the Citizen Revolution, a progressive anti-neoliberal alliance.

The program for Wednesday, April 2st, covers two of the main themes of the Platforms for Social Dialogue which CLACSO is promoting for the coming years: Democracy, human rights and peace and Social movements and activism in Latin America and the Caribbean.
