Lula da Silva's meeting with Karina Batthyány
On the afternoon of Friday, December 10, in Buenos Aires, former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva met with the Executive Secretary of CLACSO, Karina Batthyány.
The occasion was opportune to personally deliver to him the two editions of “Vigil for a Free Lula. A movement of resistance and solidarity”, in Portuguese and in Spanish, a work by Áurea Lopes that reviewed the struggle of the 580 days from the moment the former president of Brazil entered prison until his release on November 8, 2019.

Lula da Silva and Karina Batthyány were accompanied by Aloizio Mercadante Oliva, leader of the PT of Brazil, Pablo Gentili, former Executive Secretary of CLACSO, and Rosângela da Silva.
The former Brazilian president is in Argentina to participate in the commemoration of the return to democracy in Argentina on December 10, 1983, on International Human Rights Day.
