Meeting on economics for life
Organized by the Colombian Victims Unit, directed by Lilia Solano, along with the Latin American Council of Social Sciences and Artesanías de Colombia, the meeting will take place in Bogotá on December 2nd and 3rd.National Meeting on Economics for Life"with the participation of entrepreneurs who are victims of the armed conflict in the South American country."

Karina Batthyány was accompanied by Pablo Vommaro, Academic Secretary; Laura Gastón, Director of Administration; Gustavo Lema, Director of Communication and Information; and Alejandro Gambina, Co-coordinator of Training and Postgraduate Network.
The meeting is part of the activities leading up to the Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences. #CLACSO2025, from June 9 to 12, 2025 in Bogotá.
The Unit for Comprehensive Care and Reparation for Victims is an institution created in January 2012 based on Law 1448 (on victims and land restitution), which dictates measures of care, assistance and comprehensive reparation to the victims of the internal armed conflict.
It seeks to bring the State closer to victims through efficient coordination and transformative actions that promote the effective participation of victims in their reparation process. It is responsible for coordinating the assistance, support, and reparation measures provided by the State, as well as for coordinating the entities that are part of the National System for Comprehensive Victim Assistance and Reparation (SNARIV).
