In an international landscape shaped by the energy transition and the growing competition for strategic resources, this event will analyze the role of energy and critical minerals in the development debate in Latin America, focusing on the Brazilian electoral context. Featuring experts from academia, the public sector, and labor unions, the event will address their links to industrialization, employment, sovereignty over natural resources, territorial disputes, and new forms of international integration, reflecting on the challenges for a just energy transition in the region.
