CLACSO's cooperation with Sun Yat-sen University in China

On October 21, a delegation from CLACSO Working Group “Geopolitics, Regional Integration and the World System» paid a visit to the Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou, China), where she was received by authorities and teachers of Institute of International and Regional Studies of said institution.

The following people participated in the meeting: Professor Chen Jie, dean of the Institute; the Associate Professor Zhang Xinyu, vice-dean; the Associate Professor Liao Yue, from the Department of Latin American Studies; the Associate Professor Daniel Morales; The Professor Chen Meiling; and the Postdoctoral researcher Carolina Fabara.

Representatives CLACSO Working Group on Geopolitics, Regional Integration and the World System They presented the lines of research and strategic objectives that guide their work, focused on the study of the transformations of the world system, the processes of regional integration and the new contemporary geopolitical configurations.
