The right to care in urban strategic planning: How to address it? Practical guidelines for local governments

The guide was presented at this meeting. “The right to care in urban strategic planning: How to address it?”, a tool designed to guide local governments in incorporating the care and gender approach into their urban strategic planning processes.

More than 170 people and the key contents of this publication, prepared within the framework of the project, were shared “Incorporating the right to care into urban strategic planning, from a gender perspective”, one of the six selected in the II Call for Ibero-American Cooperation Projects, promoted by SEGIB.

The guide was prepared by CIDEU, CLACSO y UN Women, with the accompaniment of Mercocities and the support of AECIDThe following people participated in the meeting:

The publication offers conceptual tools and methodological recommendations to promote the redistribution and socialization of care from a feminist perspective, and includes inspiring experiences from Ibero-American cities that have already incorporated this approach into their planning processes.
