The right to the city in the face of current challenges
The CLACSO Working Group on Urban Inequalities and the Global Platform for the Right to the City (PGDC) are organizing a series of virtual discussions to present the Working Paper “The Right to the City in the face of today’s challenges”, as part of the collective learning process to nourish and develop the PGDC’s 2021 Thematic Documents.
The objectives of these dialogues are to publicize the notebook through the authors, to delve deeper into the Right to the City from different perspectives, and to connect with other struggles.

The first meeting: “Cities and human settlements with quality public spaces"will take place on Wednesday September 8 at 2:00 p.m. UTC to present a notebook that gathers diverse political and social perspectives to advance the realization of the right to the city in Latin America from the perspective of urban inequalities, through reflections that provide practical inputs to be used in awareness, training and advocacy initiatives by interested actors and organizations.
