This summary presents minha research on early childhood education and care of Haitian migrant children in the Early Childhood Education Centers (CEIs) of the direct and agreed networks of the Municipal Education Network of São Paulo, in a peripheral context and in times of pandemic. We intend to contribute to an understanding of the education and care offered to migrant babies and children in collective and public spaces for early childhood education and research with babies and children. The study analyzed how the care and education of migrant babies and children is observed in the legislative documents of São Paulo children's education, which guide the current pedagogical practices in the children's education centers of the direct and agreed networks of the city of São Paulo. This research also sought to narrate how the care of Haitian migrant babies and children was during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic and the beginning of their in-person return. This is a qualitative research that has as strategies a documentary analysis and participant observation seeking to examine the conformity of observed practices in CEIs in relation to the directions established in normative documents, especially the Curricular of the City – Migrant People. Foram observed as the presence of visual representation of the migrant population, the cultural diversity and promotion of the valorization of migrant identity in the educational environments that are present on a daily basis in two CEIs.
