Domingo Rivarola: a fundamental legacy in Latin American sociology

We share two publications about Domingo Rivarola , originally published in the newspaper El Nacional , which highlight his legacy and his important contributions to the study of Paraguayan sociology.
In the article entitled "Domingo Rivarola and his immense legacy" , the author Lorena Soler offers a journey through Rivarola's intellectual trajectory, highlighting his influence on the "modernization" of the structures and thought of sociology and his commitment to the analysis of the transformations of Paraguay.
For his part, Roberto L. Céspedes , in "Domingo Rivarola: a milestone in Paraguayan sociology" , highlights the impact of his research on the understanding of the country's historical and structural processes, underscoring his role in the consolidation of sociology as a discipline in Paraguay and in the creation of the Paraguayan Center for Sociological Studies (CPES) and the Paraguayan Journal of Sociology (RPS)
Both articles constitute a well-deserved tribute to a key figure in sociological thought in Latin America, whose work will remain current and relevant for understanding Paraguayan and regional reality.
