 Dialogues Women's Month

Women's economic autonomy, gender-based violence, and sexual and reproductive rights are the three main themes of the dialogues held on Monday, March 8, by Karina Batthyány, Executive Secretary of CLACSO, with three specialists on these topics from among the many in Latin America and the Caribbean: Lucía Scuro from Uruguay's Gender Affairs Division of ECLAC, Montserrat Sagot from the University of Costa Rica and Director of CIEM, and Dora Barrancos, a sociologist, historian, and feminist from Argentina.

The meeting takes place within the framework of Women's Month, in which the Latin American Council of Social Sciences increases actions to further highlight the issues of feminism, its struggles and demands.
