Dialogue of knowledge
This book invites readers to explore a path of encounter between academic knowledge and the ancestral wisdom of the Indigenous peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean. Through a pluralistic and respectful dialogue, thinkers, Indigenous leaders, and activists share reflections and experiences that open new ways of understanding the world, life, and sustainability. Faced with the global environmental crisis and the limitations of traditional scientific thought, this book proposes a broader perspective that recognizes cultural diversity, the richness of the land, and the urgent need to change our ways of life. This book is an invitation to think collectively, to imagine other possible futures, and to build, through respect and collaboration, a more just, habitable world in balance with the Earth.
