International Workers' Day
This Monday, May 1st, is celebrated in much of the world as Labor Day.
In recent years, the intensification of neoliberal policies has led to significant transformations in the world of work, as well as the promotion of regressive labor and pension reforms, deepening labor flexibility and precariousness.
These processes are exacerbated today by the economic and financial crisis affecting the world, resulting in the concentration of wealth and increased inequality, compounded by gender disparity and the environmental crisis, which disproportionately harms workers.
In this context, from CLACSO we extend our special greetings and reaffirm, today and always, our commitment to the demands for the creation of decent jobs, the extension of social protection, and the expansion of labor rights.
