Decolonize nature
Hector Alimonda (1949-2017) led the CLACSO Working Group on “Political Ecology” (now “Political Ecologies from the South / Abya Yala”) for 17 years, always with a profoundly Latin American perspective on the social sciences, critical thought, and political ecology. This book, organized by members of the Working Group, offers a compilation of 24 articles he wrote throughout his academic career, between 1982 and 2017. It is an invitation to think of ourselves as a network and to commit ourselves to a living, dynamic thought-action, always with hope; something that proves essential to confronting the civilizational crisis and reimagining futures.
