Within the framework of the 9th Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences, on Wednesday, June 8, in the Main Tent installed in Las Islas of the UNAM, the master dialogue “ Challenges of democracy in Latin America and the Caribbean: crossroads and threats ” took place, led by Boaventura de Sousa Santos from the University of Coimbra of Portugal, and Manuela D'Ávila , Brazilian politician, journalist and master in Public Policy.
