Right and Left in the 21st Century: General Debates and Case Studies

The book Right and Left in the 21st Century: General Debates and Case Studies, Coordinated by Tania Hernández Vicencio and Andrea Bussoletti, it brings together a set of articles whose authors propose to reflect, based on general debates and case studies, on the reconfiguration of the right and the left in different social contexts.
The works included in this compilation focus their discussions on the analysis of party systems, tensions surrounding essential democratic issues, electoral processes, the development of political parties, and the agendas of key political actors, among other aspects. The book we present to our readers aims to contribute to collective reflection on the new dimensions that must be incorporated into the analysis of the left-right relationship, and the challenges this poses to academic analysis.
This book includes contributions from members of the CLACSO Working Group on Contemporary Right-Wing Politics: Dictatorship and Democracy.
