Tenth anniversary of the Central Americanist Articulation O Istmo | Argentina

Tenth anniversary of the Central Americanist Articulation O Istmo | Argentina

July 25, 26 and 27, 2024 | Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina

Venues: CLACSO – United States 1168 | Cultural Center of Cooperation – Corrientes 1543

A hybrid Central American gathering with roundtables focusing on human rights and popular struggles in Central America. Debates will explore Central American sociopolitical issues and cultural production, particularly literature. We will emphasize the discussion of the theoretical and epistemological propositions of the Isthmus Articulation, which leads to the concept of an "isthmian perspective."

We will also remember the history of Central Americanist meetings and exchanges between intellectuals and activists from Argentina and Brazil that, at the end of 2012, formed the germ of O Istmo.
