This book contains seven essays that cover diverse and central themes of the past, present, and above all, the future of the Caribbean: from economics, politics, regional integration, identity, and history
and even the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the different chapters, the author reveals the threads that have marked the dynamics of continuity and rupture in the development of the young region, born from European colonization and the fusion of cultures and ancient peoples who made the Caribbean their home.
