 Bodies, territories and feminisms

El Workgroup CLACSO Bodies, territories and feminisms Driven by the collective Miradas Críticas del Territorio desde el Feminismo (Critical Perspectives on Territory from Feminism), we invite people from critical academia

Let's think together about the territorial debate on bodies and territories from an Indigenous, grassroots, and community-based feminist perspective, exploring the multiple links between patriarchal violence and the geopolitics of dispossession. We will draw on the frameworks offered by ecofeminisms, decolonial geographies, and the feminist political ecology of the Global South.

We are currently 32 members from Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Spain, Germany, and Canada. Most of us are part of feminist, environmental, and leftist social movements in our countries, and we are constantly thinking about building bridges between critical academia and the social movement. Abya Yala.
