Female participation in Functionalist and Interpretive Sociology

Selene Aldana Santana1
Despite the fact that in recent years there have been great advances in the research of the classics of sociology, so much so that there has even been talk of a feminist reconstruction of the discipline (Güereca, 2016), the Study Plans retain their patriarchal and androcentric profile without including them.
Such advances in research must be integrated into general basic sociological training without further delay, so that they do not remain the expert knowledge of a small group of feminist specialists. The author explores and delves into the topic and provides details in this Working Paper.
