This research booklet is the result of a joint call for proposals between the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). Based on the analysis of five cases in Latin America, the study examines the role of think tanks as key actors in climate cooperation between China and the region. Against a backdrop of geopolitical transformations and global environmental challenges, it explores how these institutions produce knowledge, influence public policy, and build transnational networks. The work aims to contribute to mutual understanding and the development of a shared South-South cooperation agenda.
