Among the possible perspectives for analyzing global dynamics and their contradictions, the studies promoted by the Our American Association of Interdisciplinary Studies of Legal Criticism have as their core focus the analysis of the state and the law; they are inscribed within critical legal studies —criticism in the sense of the critique of the destructive logic of capital from its root and not only in its phenomenological manifestations—, and seek not only to describe but to explain the hegemonic modern state and law, trying to go beyond its discourse, that is, anchoring its analysis in the social relations of capitalist domination, that is, in the commodification of life as a whole.
