Inequality crisis. Reconfiguring power for a new eco-social contract.

Within the framework of the XV Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) and CLACSO launched on Monday, November 7, UNRISD's new flagship report “Inequality crisis: reconfiguring power for a new eco-social contract".
During the event, the coordinator and lead author of the report, Katja HujoShe presented the main findings, followed by a round table discussion where academics and activists shared their reflections and experiences. Eleonor Faur (IDAES, UNSAM) and Veronica Gago (UBA, UNSAM, CONICET) and the Social Affairs Officer at ECLAC, Lucía Scuro.
The seminar included an introduction by Karina Batthyány, Executive Director of CLACSO, and of Francisco Cos-Montiel, from UNRISD, moderated by Pablo Vommaro, Director of Research at CLACSO.
