Climate crisis-energy transition: are we at a point of no return?

As the third installment of the course organized by the Department of Political Science at the National University of Colombia, entitled “Post-Covid Era or a New Normal: An Analysis from Political Science,” a panel discussion was held on Friday, October 2nd, to address the issue: “Climate Crisis – Energy Transition: Are we at a point of no return? Why is the energy transition more necessary than ever?”
The following discussions will cover:
-The role of the peasantry in the midst of the crisis. Turning our gaze to the countryside: bets on food sovereignty (October 9)
-Power relations: between citizen control practices and solidarity to face the crisis (October 16)
-Prison policy, an institutional crisis (October 30)
