The evaluation and accreditation process continues under the SILEU-CLACSO Program at La Salle University (Bogotá, Colombia).
Los días 6 y 7 de junio de 2023 Pablo Vommaro, Director de Investigación de CLACSO y Juan Piovani, Coordinador del proceso de evaluación en el marco del Sistema Latinoamericano de Evaluación Universitaria (SILEU-CLACSO), they visited the LaSalle University within the framework of the evaluation of two postgraduate programs: the Master's Degree in Teaching and the PhD in Education and Society.
The CLACSO delegation was received by the University Rector, Brother Niky Murcia Suarez, the General Secretary, Dr. Saray Moreno Mendoza, the Vice-Rector for Promotion and Human Development, Brother Carlos Andrés Forero Forero, the Academic Vice-Rector, Brother Cristhian James Díaz Meza, the Administrative and Financial Vice-Rector, Adriana Patricia López Velásquez, and the Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer, Leonor Botero Arboleda. Also present were the authorities of the Faculty of Education, the directors of the programs participating in the evaluation, and the Director of
Strategic Planning, Milton Molano Camargo and his team.
The two days of work continued with meetings and interviews with authorities, professors, administrators and students from both programs.
Finally, the dean and the directors of the programs, along with the Director of Strategic Planning, accompanied the coordinators of the SILEU-CLACSO evaluation process on an institutional tour of the University facilities.
With enthusiasm, commitment and rigor, both teams continue working on other dimensions of the evaluation and accreditation process and preparing what is necessary for the visit of the peer review committee, which will take place in September 2023.
