Everyday peacebuilding in Colombia
"Everyday building of peace"is a preparatory forum for the Congress"10 years after the peace agreement: between signing and reality"of the Comptroller General of the Republic, which took place on April 24 and 25 at the Technological University of Pereira, with broad participation of Latin American Council of Social Sciences.
The Comptroller General of the Republic will hold, between July 14 and 18, the Congress “10 years of the peace agreement between the signing and reality”, for which it has convened the Network of Member Centers of CLACSO Colombia for carrying out both activities within the framework of the Congress and a preparatory forum in which the participation of academics belonging to the CLACSO network is expected.
The forum aims to analyze the progress and challenges of implementing the peace agreements, focusing on the territorial and everyday dimensions of coexistence. Its key themes include a critical assessment of the signing of the 2016 Peace Agreement, integrating regional perspectives into the development of peace policies, and creating a space for dialogue between representatives of the Colombian government (such as the Victims Unit and peace delegates) and academia.
