VI Dialogue between the Civilizations of China and Latin America and the Caribbean

Within the framework of the VI Dialogue between Civilizations of China and Latin America and the Caribbean, the “China-Latin America and Caribbean Knowledge Alliance for Development” was launched on September 11.
The topics covered by the Forum were the implementation of the Initiative for Global Civilization and the Building of a China-LAC Community of Shared Future; Cultivating new dynamics in the China-LAC Comprehensive Cooperation Partnership; and Cooperation for development and knowledge exchange within the framework of mutual learning between the civilizations of China and LAC.

Participants included: Liu Dawei, Vice President of the China International Communications Group; Wei Guoqiang, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress; Sun Yi, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Argentina; Francisco Resnicoff, Undersecretary of International and Institutional Relations of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires; Carola Ramón, Vice President-elect of the Argentine Council for International Relations, former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina; Pablo Vommaro, Research Director of CALSCO; Julián Rebón, Secretary of Advanced Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Buenos Aires; Laura Rovelli, Coordinator of the Latin American Forum for Scientific Evaluation, FOLEC-CLACSO; and Fernanda Pampín, Director of Editorial Production at CLACSO for the Launch of Publications.

Additionally, the “Media and Think Tank Alliance between China and Latin America and the Caribbean” was launched.
