Condemns the United States military intervention against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

El CLACSO Working Group on emancipatory practices, common goods and decolonial alter-global methodologies strongly condemns the military intervention carried out by the United States Government against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the early hours of January 3, 2026.
We demand respect for Venezuela's national sovereignty, a right enshrined in international law, and an immediate end to the repressive actions against the Venezuelan people and the destructive actions against its infrastructure, cities, and communities. We demand an immediate end to this neocolonial military intervention.
In this regard, we fully endorse the Statement issued by the Steering Committee of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences, CLACSO: “To the international community in the face of the attack on Venezuela” (January 3, 2026).
