To study economic concentration and political power in Latin America, it is not only essential to rethink the methodological and theoretical strategies we use to approach the subject. It is also necessary to examine the historical context in which economic groups operate in the region, identify the consolidation process throughout their history, and question their origins and the conditions under which they have strengthened.
This book, co-published by CLACSO, is the result of a collective initiative by intellectuals committed to reflecting on, debating, denouncing, and proposing alternatives to the capitalist model in its neoliberal phase.
