Urgent statement regarding institutional violence against Mapuche populations

The CLACSO Working Group on Education and Interculturality expresses its deepest solidarity with the Mapuche people during these tragic days when the Argentine State is reminding us of the most despicable aspects of our national history: dismemberment, isolation, forced relocations in the dead of night, and births in captivity. We condemn the persecution, harassment, and repression against Indigenous populations and urge the authorities to cease their actions and seek legitimate avenues for just demands, framed within constitutional rights and international treaties.
