Colloquium on Women's Studies
On Tuesday, February 20, in Havana, Cuba, Fernanda Pampín, Director of Publications of CLACSO, analyzed the role of women in Latin American and Caribbean social and human sciences in the context of the celebrations for the 65th anniversary of Casa de las Américas.

Research on the female role in the social sciences and humanities, literature inspired by motherhood, Afro-entrepreneurship, violence and gender discrimination are some of the proposals of the International Colloquium 30 years of women's studies, feminisms and women's movements in Latin America and the Caribbean, which is being held until Friday, February 23, in the Manuel Galich Room and in the José Antonio Echeverría Library, of the Casa de las Américas, in the Vedado district of Havana.
This is an initiative of the Women's Studies Program, with the participation of specialists from Cuba, the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Guatemala, Ecuador, Spain, France, Germany and Canada.
