Colombia: the disputes over peace

The four-part special production “Colombia: Disputes over Peace” seeks to highlight, on the one hand, the main difficulties that the implementation of the Final Peace Agreement in Colombia has faced and, on the other hand, to analyze the social and political scenarios that place compliance with what was agreed upon as a field of dispute; this with the purpose of contributing to the analysis of the social risks, especially the resurgence of violence, that are faced due to non-compliance.
Moderation: Jaime Zuluaga, professor at the Externado University of Colombia and director of the magazine Foro, and Carolina Jimenez, Director of the political science department of the National University of Colombia, member of the CLACSO Steering Committee.

Chapter 1: The social and political significance of the Peace Agreement

Participants: Mauricio Archila, Professor in the Department of History at the National University of Colombia and Researcher at CINEP; and Daniela Largo, community communicator and youth leader.
Chapter 4: Post-agreement, violence and humanitarian crisis
Participants: Lourdes Castro, Coordinator of the Somos Defensores program; Camilo González Posso, President of the Institute for Development and Peace Studies – INDEPAZ.
