Epistemologies of the South Collection
Epistemologies of the South are the central axis and common denominator around which—over the last few decades—a broad program of collective work has been consolidated, led by Boaventura de Sousa Santos and comprised of intellectuals and activists based across the globe. The Epistemologies of the South collection was conceived as a series of small, accessible books, presented as works of art to be discovered and as powerful compasses for crossing the line that separates metropolitan forms of sociability from colonial experiences.
The collection is launched within the framework of the Specialization in Epistemologies of the South – which is part of the CLACSO training program in partnership with FLACSO Brazil – and brings together the work carried out over many years, with a broad audience interested in this topic in mind.
