The Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) has forged alliances with the Venezuelan Ministry of Culture to promote Venezuelan traditions and knowledge worldwide. On this occasion, an agreement was signed to strengthen, safeguard, and update the collective memory of Latin American and Caribbean thought.

A partnership agreement was also established between CLACSO and the Ayacucho Library to distribute Venezuelan-published books globally. Both initiatives are part of the Venezuelan Ministry of Culture's efforts to strengthen cultural ties among the world's peoples.

Those present for these agreements included Karina Batthyány, executive secretary of Clacso; Luis Alberto Crespo, president of the Ayacucho Library; and Ernesto Villegas, minister for culture.
