CLACSO at the VIII FILUNI
The “VIII FILUNI – University Book Fair” is held at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) from August 25 to 30 with a large presence of CLACSO for the fifth consecutive year.
Admission is free, and the event runs from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Mexico City time at the CEC venue (UNAM Exhibition and Congress Center, Av. del Imán 10, Coyoacán, Mexico City). This year, the University of Valencia is the guest of honor, and new releases from over 350 publishing houses will be featured.
CLACSO is once again participating in the “ International Colloquium on University Publishing ,” the “ Meeting of Rectors and Heads of Higher Education Institutions ,” and academic and cultural activities alongside the CLACSO Centers in Mexico . In addition, it is showcasing new publications and classic collections from its catalog at booths 7 and 8 , with special coverage on CLACSO TV.

Meeting within the framework of FILUNI between Pablo Vommaro and Angela Davis , an occasion in which they discussed the realities of activism and academia in the current situation in the region and the need to continue working with and from Afro-descendant, Afro-diasporic and Black women to achieve recognition, reparations and an anti-racist society.
