CLACSO at the Madrid International Book Fair

The Latin American Council of Social Sciences, represented by its Director of Editorial Production Fernanda Pampín, is present at the 41st edition of Liber 2023, the International Book Fair held from October 4 to 6 at the Madrid Fairgrounds.

CLACSO books are available at the “Combed tin”, the Latin American bookstore in the Spanish capital.

Organized by IFEMA MADRID and promoted by the Federation of Publishers' Guilds of Spain, with Poland as the guest country, Liber 2023 is presented as the first exhibition of books in Spanish, with the capacity to offer business opportunities to the main publishing companies and boost the book market.
A total of 373 participating companies from 13 countries, of which 210 are direct exhibitors, define this 41st edition which, for three days, offers the broadest overview of current publishing production in Spanish.
In addition, 80 sessions at LIBER's Conference Program bring together leading experts from the institutional and business sectors, all connected to the publishing industry, to address some of the most pressing issues in the sector today. New technologies and the rise of artificial intelligence; environmental sustainability; business models and book marketing; international collaboration among publishers; new promotional strategies for reaching readers in different international markets; intellectual property; and the promotion of reading are among the key topics of this year's event.
