CLACSO supports and participates in the Virtual Meeting on Open Science in the Caribbean
The School of Communication and Information at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, is organizing the Virtual meeting on Open Science in the Caribbean, with the support of the Latin American Forum for Scientific Evaluation (FOLEC) of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences.
The event will be the Tuesday November 15 at 10:00 AM Puerto Rico (GMT -4)/11:00 AM Argentina (GMT-3).
The meeting will be moderated by Dr. Carlos Suárez Balseiro (Center for Research in Information and Communication, University of Puerto Rico) and will include the participation of:
- Dr. Pablo Vommaro, Director of Research, Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO)
- Dr. Dominique Babini, Advisor on Open Science, Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO)
- Dr. Laura Rovelli, Coordinator of the Latin American Forum on Scientific Evaluation (FOLEC), Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO)
- Dr. Manuel Madé Zabala, Research Professor, Coordinator of Management and Scientific Dissemination, Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC).
- Dr. María Isabel Domínguez García, Center for Psychological and Sociological Research (CIPS), Cuba, Representative of the CLACSO Steering Committee.
- Dr. Cláudia de Souza and Dr. Carlos Suárez Balseiro, Center for Research in Information and Communication (CIICOM), School of Communication and Information, University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
