CLACSO supports the More than our rank initiative promoted by inorms

The "More Than Our Rank" (MTOR) initiative has been developed in response to some of the problematic features and consequences of global university rankings.

MTOR offers academic institutions the opportunity to highlight the many and diverse ways in which they contribute to the world that are not reflected in their ranking position.

This initiative is aimed at all academic institutions, whether ranked or not, that recognize the limitations of the indicators used, and that consider that rankings do not reflect their strengths or their institutional mission.

At CLACSO-FOLEC we believe that MTOR is very useful for universities to strengthen complementary research evaluation narratives, as well as giving institutions the opportunity to define their strengths in their own terms.
